We will pass in front of Amsterdam’s most famous coffeshop and tell you all about the marijuana tolerance policy that the country adhered to in the 1970’s.
We will also walk through the city’s famous LGBT street, which has a vibrant nightlife, as well as a huge range of restaurants. And offcourse, veryone is welcome to visit!
A Stop For A Dutch Snack
Getting to know Amsterdam at night is undoubtedly an interesting experience, as the city takes on other airs. The streets and terraces are full with a mix of locals and tourists.
During our tour, we will have a strategic stop in a legendary 70 year old snack bar in order to try a tasty ‘kroket’. This is a meat cream dumpling and traditional snack in the Netherlands.
The Amstel River and The Red Light District
We will admire the beautiful view of the Amstel river, and finish our tour with a walk and a drink in the (in)famous Red Light District.
You will learn how this area came into existence as well as some interesting facts about its functioning nowadays!
