Tour to the Flower Fields

Spring is the most beautiful season in Holland because tulips and hundreds of other flower types start to flourish in flower fields across the whole country. The region that is especially famous for its flower fields is called de Bollenstereek (Bulb region). The famous Keukenhof flower garden, is also located in this region.

What to Expect From My Flower Field Tour?

Famously Known as the Bollenstreek or Bulb Region

The Bollenstreek or Bulb region is famous for its bulb cultivation. So, in case you did not know, the flower fields are private property of bulb producers, who cultivate the bulbs and that export them worldwide. So, it is not the beautiful flower that is being cultivated and sold, but instead the bulb which is buried in the earth.

Visiting the Right Fields Without Surprises

Sometimes it can be a bit hard to access the flower fields as they are private property and not all producers are fond of visitors as they might damage the flower and bulbs. Don’t worry however, if you do this tour, we will make sure to pick out the ones that can be visited and where we can make those beautiful pictures that will be a lifelong memory.

Because of the proximity, it is a good idea to combine a visit to the flower fields with a visit to the Keukenhof flower garden. However, if you only want to visit the flower fields, this is no problem!
