In some fields it is not possible to enter/cross and take pictures, as they need to preserve the integrity of the flowers as much as possible. Don’t worry, however—we will take you to fields that can be entered, where we will take several incredible photos and even have a drink while surrounded by tulips.
A great way to enjoy the day in the bulb region is to visit the Keukenhof and then stroll through the beautiful flower fields surrounding the park.
3. Private Keukenhof and Windmill Tour
A tour to the Keukenhof can also be combined with a visit to the Zaanse Schans Windmill Village. We will walk through this large open-air museum next to a river, pastures full of cows and goats and among the houses and gardens—in order to observe and take pictures of fabulous, typically Dutch scenery. We will see historically important workshops and windmills. We will also participate in demonstrations on how traditional Dutch cheese is made (and, of course, taste all the flavors!) and also on how wooden clogs are made.
